One of the most disconcerting things about quilting was, from the beginning, the batting. I didn’t know what is the right material to use or why.
Sew Lazy, Fusible. I had this interfacing laying around at home (I had bought for previous projects, for bag structural strength). The truth is, when I tried to iron it to my cotton top, the iron got a bit of the glue and things went south from there. Also, it only sticks on one side, so you cannot truly use it for quilting if you expect to iron your fabrics on both sides. I guess I tried to use the wrong product for the job.
